I’ve prayed for absolution but you have taught me it requires blood
So I’ll rend my heart I’ll wreck my flesh
A piece of me for a piece of salvation
I want to know perfection, I want to feel your love
I hear your pallid lips sing sweetly, veracious words that haunt
To taste salvation is to suffer
You must cleanse the corruption from your heart
There’s no sacrifice in praise and adoration
True worship requires blood
Perfidious love is adorned in praise and adoration
But you my love deserve blood
I’ve prayed for redemption now I know it requires blood
So I’ll rend my heart I’ll wreck my flesh
A piece of me for a piece of eternity
I want to know your perfection, a love omnigenous and without end
I hear your pallid lips sing sweetly, veracious words that haunt
You must liberate this bondage of flesh
You’ll only know this beauty through death
There’s no sacrifice in praise and adoration
True worship requires blood
Perfidious love is adorned in praise and adoration
But you my love, you my love, you love my love deserve blood
Your perfection only reflects
There will be no transformation without bloodshed
No true worship without sacrifice
So I’ll Strip away my inner workings to find the path to God
Not through absolution, only blood
That’s all that lies between your beauty and my heart
Your perfection only reflects
There will be no transformation without bloodshed
No true worship without sacrifice
So I’ll Strip away my inner workings til I find
Nothing between you and my heart
Because you’re the only thing I’ve ever loved

It really gives me the headache, but once in a while, in small doses, I reckon its cathartic effects. Although, in all honesty, I don't see me buying another album by this artist. Bertrand Marchal
A stellar cast of artists put their own shadowy spins on recent Bestial Mouths material—toward the goth club floor or into pure noise. Bandcamp New & Notable May 11, 2021

It's uncanny just how good Actors is at emulating that Post-Punk synth sound from my younger days.
Each listen just gets better and better. I feel slightly ashamed for not having heard this album until a few short days ago. modestwriggles
